Illuminates the land
decimates the darkness
cleanses the world
the god among us

frees us from the tyrannies
of the shadowed night
brushing away the cobwebs
of the dusky morning

dust and ashes
drifting through the air
to be illuminated
by the morning's rays

bringer of life
in a roundabout way
motes caressing skin
petals, leaves and lips.

Flowing down around curves
casting shadows off edges
creating the darkness
it's own enemy.

Out of the light
comes the dark
and with the light
the dark is defeated.

Love the interpretation, and the simplicity of this piece~

One of my favorites of yours, I think. <3

I really loved this poem, and the simplicity of this poem added to the wonder of it, good work.

What have I become
My sweetest friend
Everyone I know goes away
In the end
And you could have it all
My empire of dirt
I will let you down
I will make you hurt
